European Tyre Labelling Regulation
The tyre labelling regulation introduces labelling requirements with regard to the display of information on the fuel efficiency, wet grip and external rolling noise of tyres. Its aim is to increase the safety and the environmental and economic efficiency of road transport by promoting fuel-efficient and safe tyres with low noise levels.
All tires have to conform to standards specified by international organizations
such as T&RA and ETRTO for parameters such as rim diameter, exterior diameter, and
cross sectional width.
General Recommendations
- - Check the air in your tires at least once every 15 days.
- - Do not decrease the air pressure of your tire in snowy and icy conditions
- - Do not drive at high speed on rough surfaces.
- - The fact that thread depth is less than 3 mm in winter affects traction negatively.
- - Avoid hitting your tire on the edges of pavements and sharp surfaces.
